TONY LEE - BIOGRAPHY

We are pleased to have Tony Lee join us as a consultant for Young Professionals. Our first joint project will be to update the Best Protocol Practices curriculum to reflect the impact of social media in our professional lives.

Tony joined Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo (Zoo) in 2007 as the Senior Development Officer to overhaul the development efforts of the Zoo. This position reports directly to the Deputy Director/Acting CEO of the Zoo and is responsible for providing campaign project management, individual donor fundraising, community relations, database management, donor relations and gift processing.

Tony's work experience includes both nonprofit and higher educational fundraising. Before arriving in Tampa, FL and the Zoo, he served as Director of Annual Giving at Florida Atlantic University raising $1.7 - 2.2 million dollars annually and coordinator in the FSU Foundation, Inc. and Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs at Florida State University.

In 2009, the Tampa Bay Business Journal selected Tony as an Up & Comer. Tony is President-Elect of the Tampa Bay Seminole Club and serves as Connect Florida- Development Chair. Past leadership positions include: Immediate Past Chair of the Seminole Torchbearers and Former Affiliated Student Advancement Programs (ASAP) Chair and Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III Board member. Hobbies include: Watching College Football and Traveling
